Microsoft has begun testing "Cloud Rebuild" in Windows 11 Insider Experimental builds, a feature that can remotely trigger a complete system reinstall from the cloud for devices that are inoperable or persistently problematic. The feature was first previewed at Ignite 2025. Enterprise security teams should evaluate the recovery implications.
